Open Governance Standards: Promoting Citizen Empowerment and Participation

Description

The Open Governance Standards provide guidance to public institutions at all levels, as well as other stakeholders, such as civil society, with regard to which basic elements need to be in place to ensure open governance. The standards presented here may help to formulate new and improve existing efforts to make government more transparent, accountable and participatory.
