Description

Transparency International Ukraine has published its first report on the performance of the e-procurement system called ProZorro. The analysed period covers five months: from August 2016 (when the new law on procurement entered into force) until December, 2016. In this study, the new methodology of monitoring public procurements in Ukraine was presented. The methodology is based on best practices of civic society monitoring from countries with a comparable level of corruption, such as Armenia and Paraguay. Also, the potential of big data is combined with in-depth cases of procurement violations.
